Contracts Administrator - Senior | ICF International | Fairfax, VA

We are currently seeking a Senior Contracts Administrator in our
Administration & Contracts group in the Fairfax, VA office. The Senior
Contracts Administrator will be a critical position in the day to day
administration of the contracts for a Practice/Business Unit within ICF
International.
In this role, you will:
- Perform all duties of contract administration,
including negotiation, correspondence, documentation, certification,
financial reporting, and product delivery for major contracts.
- Negotiate contract terms from proposal stage to project close-out in
accordance with relevant regulations.
- Coordinate approval of
negotiations, contracts, and subcontracts with appropriate management
staff.
- Provide advice and interpretation of contract requirements.
- Review solicitation requests to ensure compliance with terms and
conditions.
- Prepare and submit cost proposals including pricing and
scheduling details, coordination of requirements, and cost proposal risk
assessment.
- Prepare consulting agreements.
- Modify contract schedules
and participates in agreement negotiations when required.
- Ensure timely
processing of technical reports and deliverables.
- Coordinate with
program managers to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled.
- Assist
in the development of internal contracts policy.
- Provide guidance and
work leadership to less-experienced contracts administrators, and may
have supervisory responsibilities.
- Maintain current knowledge of
relevant contractual procedures and practices.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business or related field;
- 5-7 years
experience in Federal and/or State Government contracting, as well as
experience dealing with large and small programs, and with multiple
subcontractors.
- Advanced knowledge of relevant laws, regulations,
terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts, including
federal FAR, DFAR, and CAS.
- Ability to prepare cost proposals.
- Effective organizational and communication skills.
